- Private payment options
At a reduced rate (comparable to what you might pay as an out-of-pocket gap payment when seeing a fully registered psychologist with Medicare). Please note: Services with our Provisional psychologist do not attract Medicare rebates. However, our pricing is structured to be affordable and comparable to the out-of-pocket expenses you might pay after a Medicare rebate with a fully registered psychologist. Whether you're concerned about specific behaviours, looking for support with emotional challenges, or simply want to support your child's emotional wellbeing, our psychology team is here to help your child thrive. Ready to learn more? Get in touch today to discuss how our psychology services can support your child's journey to be more than able.
Think of a Provisional Psychologist as a psychology graduate on the last legs of their very long education marathon. These professionals have already completed years of university study and are in the final stretch of their journey to full registration. Our Provisional Psychologist comes equipped with extensive knowledge, practical skills, and fresh perspectives on supporting children's wellbeing. They've tackled countless assignments, exams, and practical placements before joining our team.
What makes their care extra special? They receive regular supervision from experienced Clinical and General Psychologists who guide their practice and share wisdom gained from years in the field. This means your child benefits from both innovative approaches and time-tested strategies (think two psychologists for the price of 1!). The pathway to becoming a fully registered psychologist is no walk in the park—it's a rigorous process ensuring that even at the provisional stage, your child is in capable, well-trained hands committed to helping them thrive.
As for the practical stuff—sessions with our Provisional Psychologist are eligible for NDIS funding and come at a more accessible price point. We've set our service fees at a reduced rate comparable to what you might pay as an out-of-pocket gap payment when seeing a fully registered psychologist with a Medicare rebate. While these sessions don't attract Medicare rebates themselves, your wallet will barely notice the difference!
